Lovable in, WordPress out: a delivery checklist

The short list of things every migration should ship — and the longer list of things it should never ship.

We ship three artifacts on every project: a theme zip, a plugins zip, and a seed-content zip. Drop them on any host, run the importer, and you have the site.

What every delivery includes

  • A native block theme with real templates and template parts
  • Custom post types for any structured data the app showed
  • A theme.json mirroring your design tokens
  • Seed content so the staging install looks like the prototype on first load
  • A short Loom walkthrough of the admin

What we refuse to ship

  • Page-builder dependencies that lock the site to one editor
  • Iframed embeds of the original prototype
  • Single-blob HTML pages disguised as a theme
  • Licenses the client does not own outright

If the deliverable cannot survive us going out of business tomorrow, it is not done.
